The AI for Impact Summer Camp empowers middle and high school students (grades 7-10) to become leaders in AI and sustainability. Participants will explore AI ethics and leadership, and gain hands-on experience building real-world AI solutions for critical global challenges such as climate change, economic development, financial health, energy and food security, entrepreneurship, and global water scarcity issues. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on projects, including the use of Sustainability STEM Kits™. Students will engage with expert talks from leaders in AI and sustainability, receive career path insights, and gain direct experience with advanced technologies like AI, Cloud Computing, and IoT. The camp aims to nurture innovative leaders equipped with skills for high-paying, purpose-driven careers in technology and environmental stewardship.
A typical day runs from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday, and includes expert talks, practical projects with Sustainability STEM Kits™, and direct experience with AI and other advanced technologies.
