About this camp

Camp S.W.A.G. Academy's S.O.L.A.R-X™ Innovation Project Lab is a multidisciplinary summer experience where middle and high school students (grades 8-11) engage in a confidential, future-focused innovation challenge. Participants work in collaborative teams to move a project from concept to a working solution. The program emphasizes project management, creativity, research, responsible AI, teamwork, sustainable energy, and real-world problem-solving. Students will establish goals, responsibilities, milestones, and a plan for project completion, then apply their skills to imagine, investigate, plan, design, integrate, test, improve, and defend their solution. This hands-on approach helps students develop leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills while fostering an understanding of applied STEM concepts and sustainable technology.
