Step into the future with Club SciKidz Charlotte South's Junior AI & Chat Bots camp, designed to introduce elementary-aged students to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Campers will utilize visual programming tools like Scratch to build their own personalized chatbots. Throughout the week, they will learn about basic algorithms, which are simple sets of instructions that computers follow, to teach their chatbots how to engage in conversations, answer questions, and even tell jokes. This hands-on, project-based program offers a playful yet educational approach to exploring a complex and futuristic field, culminating in students creating their very own intelligent projects.
A typical day includes general check-in, an all-camp science demonstration, multiple S.T.E.A.M rotations, snack breaks, lunch and recess, and an outdoor component with team and skill-building activities.
