The camp emphasizes an ability-based grouping rather than age-based, allowing students to progress at their own pace with personalized attention and a focus on building a portfolio of real-world projects.
Thinking Feet Coding & AI Camp offers elementary and middle school students a dynamic environment to build, code, and collaborate on hands-on projects. Campers explore various aspects of STEAM, including Coding & AI, Robotics, and Engineering. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, experimentation, and logical thinking, moving beyond basic instruction to encourage students to conceptualize ideas, code them, and debug their own thinking. Activities include building games, creating AI-infused mobile apps, and engaging with robotics using platforms like Ozobots and mBots. The camp aims to develop not just coding skills but also leadership qualities and the ability to tackle real-world challenges, fostering confidence and creative expression through technology.
A typical day involves morning and afternoon sessions filled with hands-on coding, robotics, and engineering projects, balanced with supervised lunch and outdoor recreational activities in grassy fields.
This camp is best for curious and inquisitive elementary and middle school students who are eager to learn technology, build projects, and develop problem-solving skills in a fun, collaborative environment.
