About this camp

Camp S.W.A.G. Academy's S.O.L.A.R.-X™ Innovation Project Lab is a three-week, multidisciplinary summer program designed for students entering grades 8-11. Participants work in teams on a confidential, future-focused innovation challenge, moving a proposal from concept to a working solution. The program emphasizes hands-on execution, integrating project management, creativity, research, responsible AI, teamwork, sustainable energy, and real-world problem-solving. Students will research, plan, design, develop, integrate, test, troubleshoot, refine, and complete a working team solution. The curriculum includes structured guidance in project management, responsible AI, design, teamwork, sustainable energy, and supervised electrical systems. The experience culminates in a Saturday Judged Showcase & Awards Luncheon where teams present and defend their solutions.
